About Us
Whiskey Creek Goldens is located on
the banks of Whiskey Creek in Scappoose Oregon,
most of our 5 acres is old growth forest this gives our goldens a
wonderful place to live, play and grow.
I cannot remember a time when
dogs were not in my life. As a child we raised St. Bernards, Pekingese, and Pomeranians.
We got our first Golden in 1995 as a gift for our children. She soon took over our house and our hearts. Our children were active in 4H. She
took many obedience award in her career.
She became our foundation bitch and is part of most
of the dogs we have today. Her first litter produced 10 beautiful puppies in 1999 all of
which are still alive and doing well (as of 2010).
From there we moved on to
field dogs and trials producing many field, obedience, agility and rally title
holders as well as loved family pets.
In the last several years we have
produced both excellent Field Dogs and Conformation Show dogs.
I have been involved with
this wonderful breed for 15 years now and cannot imagine my life with out one lying
at my feet as I type this.
My ultimate goal is to produce, Healthy, Intelligent, & Loving, Golden retrievers, that are able to do the jobs
they where intended to do, Do all you ask of them, and look beautiful to boot.
I am a proud member of The Golden
Retriever Club of America, and our local golden club, Pacific Rim Golden Retriever Club Of Oregon, in which I am currently serving as the public education chair.
